Dear Parents/ Carers,

I hope this post finds you well.  I wanted to be in touch to share some reminders.

Firstly, a reminder it is September weekend this weekend and school is closed Friday 25th and Monday 28th September for a holiday. Time for everyone to have some rest after a very busy month!

Can I remind you all to ensure you are socially distancing when dropping off and collecting your child, especially when leaving through the gates.

Thank you to those who have already completed the Digital Technology survey. It will help us to plan support for families. Please contact us if you DO NOT have access to Wifi or DO NOT have access to a tablet, desktop or laptop at home. I hope you have had a chance to download and set up the Seesaw app, this will enable us to share your child's learning with you. If you have any problems setting up the Seesaw app, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Finally, can I ask that you do not send in small sugar lollies with your child for their lunch or break, eg. Chuppa chupps. There is a risk of choking on these lollies while your child is running about in the playground. We have also noticed children are spilling tube style yogurts onto their uniforms while they are eating them outside at break. It would be helpful to remind your child to save these for their lunch if packed lunch and avoid sending them in for snack.

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation. I hope the current and potential restrictions do not hamper your long weekend too much.

Take care,

Emma Gillies
