World Book Day
WORLD BOOK DAY and BOOK FAYRE
Dear Parents/Carers,
We are delighted to be hosting a Book Fayre with Travelling Books next week. Children will be able to view the books on Tuesday 1st March, with their class. Children may bring home a note of the book they might like. The books will then be available to buy on Wednesday and Thursday during the day.
If you would like to buy a book we would appreciate if you could send in correct money in an envelope. If the book is not available (as we will have limited stock), school will order the book and your child will receive it the following week.
We will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 3rd March. On Thursday, we are having a Book Swap and Bedtime Story Day!
Pupils can come to school wearing their pyjamas and bring their favourite teddy to school! Every child will receive a hot chocolate drink to enjoy while they listen to a story being read.
Children can also bring a book to school to swap for another book!
We ask that children bring their ‘book swap book’ on either Monday 28th February or Tuesday 1st March.
We hope these events will be enjoyable for the children and they will continue to develop a love of reading!
